Breast Cancer Awareness Month is in full swing, and Atlantic City casinos have jumped in to support the cause. The plan is to host several events and activities, raising funds for research and prevention efforts.
This year, the theme is RISE: Rally In Screening Everyone.
The president of the Casino Association of New Jersey, Mark Giannantonio said “It always makes me proud to see our city come together, united toward a common cause.”
Giannantonio used to serve as president and CEO of Resorts Atlantic City, and understands why this cause is so important the Atlantic City casino scape.
“Unfortunately, so many of us have been affected by cancer, whether through our own diagnosis or that of a loved one. This cause is personal for so many of us and Atlantic City casinos are honored to join forces once again with local and national cancer prevention organizations to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research and screening,” Giannantonio said.
Bally’s Atlantic City
Another “Pink Your Drink” campaign will take place through its dessert & beverage menu.
Establishments taking part include:

- Jerry Longo’s Meatballs and Martinis
- The Yard.
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa
The Borgata casino will take part in the Real Men Wear Pink movement – bringing together men in the Greater Philadelphia Area with the American Cancer Society.
Caesars Atlantic City
There will be various fundraising events taking place, put on by the enthusiastic Caesars Entertainment team, like Zumba and The Pink Queens Bingo Ball.
Tropicana Atlantic City
All of the money thrown into the now pink-dressed fountain will go to the American Cancer Society.
Harrah’s Resort
The Caesars Entertainment team will be set up fundraising events throughout the month – just as they are at the Caesars location.
Golden Nugget Atlantic City
The proceeds of their property-wide Pink Tequini will support the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Hard Rock Hotel Casino AC
Hard Rock have two different comedy acts at the AC casino.
Wanda Sykes already performed at Sound Waves, on Oct. 8th and on Friday, Oct. 14, as well as Saturday, Oct. 15, Vic DiBitetto graces the stage.
A portion of the sales will go to the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink cause. Ticket prices begin at $44.
Vic DiBitetto will be performing at 8 pm on both nights.
Ocean Casino Resort
Their Pink Paloma cocktail will be available for purchase from most of their on-site bars and restaurants – costsing $15. $2, per purchase, will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Resorts AC
Among several events being organised, Resorts AC created a Halloween pop-up experience, flavoured by this month’s cancer research theme. Visit the Pink Pumpkin at Bar One, and a portion of what you spend will go to the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign.
You can also buy a Mighty Pink Cocktail for $10. $8, per purchase, will go to the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign. Funds from purchased of the Pinkberry Cosmo at Dougherty’s Steakhouse and Raw Bar will also be donated to the cause.
