New Jersey continues its streak in record revenue numbers for 2021.

Online casinos in the state of New Jersey reported another month of record revenue, bringing in $107.1 million for the month. This is a year-to-year increase of 26.1%

The top-performing online casino for the month was Borgata Online, with $34.4million in revenue. Golden Nugget came in second place with $27.6 million. This has been an ongoing trend in the NJ market, with the latest numbers showing Golden Nugget’s daily average revenue falling 8.3% while Borgata has increased 8.4%. The two’s revenue numbers are now separated by the largest gap yet at 22%. Much of this can be attributed to Borgata’s online poker platform (a 24.4% difference); Golden Nugget has no separate poker platform.

These latest figures show Borgata is now in control of ⅓ of New Jersey’s iGaming market.

Other casinos to note for the month of June:

  • Ocean Resort saw a 13% increase in daily average revenue, making June its best month yet.
  • Resorts reported a rise of 8.8% in daily average revenue and now maintains 21% of NJ’s market.
  • Hard Rock saw a daily average revenue loss of 2%.

Total monthly revenue for the gaming industry in NJ came in at $374.2 million when combining online casinos, land-based casinos, and sports betting. For the first half of 2021, online casinos alone have produced $634.2 million in revenue and over $16 million in tax revenue for the state.

In year-to-year numbers, total gaming revenue in New Jersey is up 105.7% at $2.2 billion compared to the same time last year.
